ParameterBias
ParameterBias
is a possible value for the RegressionReport option for NonlinearRegress which represents the estimated bias in the parameter estimates.
Details and Options
- To use ParameterBias, you first need to load the Regression Common Functions Package. You can do this by using Needs["NonlinearRegression`"], which will automatically load the Regression Common Functions Package, or you can load the package directly by using Needs["RegressionCommon`"].
- ParameterBias gives a vector of the estimated differences between the parameter estimates and the true parameter values.
- ParameterBias is based on the average curvature of the solution locus tangential to the least‐squares estimate.
