PolytopeQuartiles
PolytopeQuartiles[{x1,…,xn}]
gives a list of the loci of the quartiles of the bivariate data x1, x2, … where the data has been ordered using convex hulls centered on ConvexHullMedian[{x1,…,xn}].
Details and Options
- To use PolytopeQuartiles, you first need to load the Multivariate Statistics Package using Needs["MultivariateStatistics`"].
- PolytopeQuartiles returns a list of Polytope objects, centered at ConvexHullMedian[{x1,…,xn}]. The fractions of the data lying inside the Polytope objects are 0.25, 0.5, and 0.75.
