ShadowBox
As of Version 9, all the functionality of the PlotLegends package is built into the Wolfram System.
ShadowBox[{x,y},{xlength,ylength},options]
generates a box with a drop shadow.
Details and Options
- To use ShadowBox, you first need to load the Plot Legends Package using Needs["PlotLegends`"].
- The box is generated at position {x,y} with size specified by {xlength,ylength}, and with colors specified in options.
- The following options can be given:

ShadowBorder {Thickness[0.001], GrayLevel[0]} style of the line around the box ShadowForeground GrayLevel[1] color of the box with the shadow ShadowBackground GrayLevel[0] color of the shadow ShadowOffset {0.1, -0.1} and offset of the shadow from the box
