RSquared

As of Version 7.0, RSquared has become a property of LinearModelFit.

RSquared

is a possible value for the RegressionReport option for Regress and DesignedRegress which represents the coefficient of determination R2.

Details and Options

  • To use RSquared, you first need to load the Regression Common Functions Package. You can do this by using Needs["LinearRegression`"], which will automatically load the Regression Common Functions Package, or you can load the package directly by using Needs["RegressionCommon`"].
  • RSquared is the ratio of the model sum of squares to the total sum of squares.
  • RSquared gives the fraction of the variation of the response that is predicted by the model.
