$LibraryPath

gives the default list of directories to search in attempting to find a library.

Details

  • $LibraryPath can be used to locate both Wolfram libraries and general dynamic libraries.
  • $LibraryPath is used by functions such as FindLibrary and LibraryFunctionLoad.
  • The default setting for $LibraryPath includes LibraryResources directories from installed applications.
