RegionFunction

is an option for plotting functions that specifies the region to include in the plot drawn.

Details

• The setting specifies that a point should be included in the region when r[args] yields True.
• The arguments supplied to r are as follows:
•  Plot x , y ParametricPlot x, y, u or x, y, u, v x, y, f x, y, f x, y, z, f x, y, z ParametricPlot3D x, y, z, u or x, y, z, u, v
• Adaptive refinement is typically used to determine the boundaries of the region specified by RegionFunction.
• The boundary of regions defined by RegionFunction is drawn with a style specified by the setting for BoundaryStyle.
