ScaleDivisions

ScaleDivisions

is an option for gauge functions that specifies how many tick marks should be drawn on the scale.

Details

  • The numbers specified for ScaleDivisions refer to the actual sections of the scale, not the ticks.
  • The numbers of divisions must be nonzero integers.
  • The following settings can be given for ScaleDivisions:
  • Noneno scale divisions drawn
    Automaticscale divisions drawn automaticaly
    nnumber of total divisions
{nmajor, nminor}list of the number of major divisions and minor divisions per major division
